Can I take a loan on my LIC Jeevan Labh policy?

Yes, loan facility is available after paying at least 2 full consecutive years of premiums. You can borrow up to 90% of the surrender value for in-force policies (and up to 80% for paid-up policies).

What is the grace period for premium payments?

A grace period of 30 days is allowed for Yearly, Half-Yearly, and Quarterly payment modes, and 15 days for Monthly (NACH) mode.

What happens if I stop paying premiums after 2 years?

If premiums have been paid for at least 2 consecutive years, the policy does not lapse completely but converts into a "Paid-up Policy" with reduced Sum Assured proportional to premiums paid.
