1How do survival payouts work in LIC Money Back 20-Year (Plan 720)?
In the 20-Year Money Back Plan, you pay premiums for 15 years. You receive 20% of Basic Sum Assured at the end of the 5th, 10th, and 15th year (Total 60% SA). At the 20th year maturity, you receive the remaining 40% Sum Assured + Vested Reversionary Bonuses + Final Additional Bonus.
2How do survival payouts work in LIC Money Back 25-Year (Plan 721)?
In the 25-Year Money Back Plan, you pay premiums for 20 years. You receive 15% of Basic Sum Assured at the end of the 5th, 10th, 15th, and 20th year (Total 60% SA). At the 25th year maturity, you receive the remaining 40% Sum Assured + Accrued Bonuses + FAB.
3What is the death benefit if survival benefits were already received?
In LIC Money Back policies, the 100% Sum Assured on Death (125% of Basic SA) + Vested Bonuses is paid in full on death, WITHOUT deducting any survival benefits previously paid to the policyholder.
4Are the survival benefit payouts subject to income tax?
No. All periodic survival benefit payouts and maturity returns are 100% tax-free under Section 10(10D) of the Income Tax Act.
